Real Talk
Limelight uses non-laser, filtered light energy to heat pigment and blood vessels in the skin selectively. This causes them to coagulate and break down, after which the body naturally removes the unwanted pigment or vascular material over time.
Limelight may be used to treat:
- Sunspots and pigmentation
- Redness and flushing
- Fine facial veins
- Uneven skin tone due to UV damage
This treatment is most suitable for individuals with lighter skin types (Fitzpatrick I–III).
Pigmentation may darken before it flakes off or fades. Initial improvements are typically visible within 2 to 3 weeks. Multiple sessions may be required for optimal results.
