Anti Wrinkle Injections
Clinica Lase offers only the latest and best anti-wrinkle treatments for our clients. Our expert cosmetic doctors and nurses use precision injections with a specialised formula to target the underlying muscles responsible for wrinkles. By gently relaxing these muscles, your skin becomes smoother, fine lines are diminished, and those dreaded crow’s feet gracefully retreat.
These cosmetic injection procedures, along with our popular laser genesis treatments, help to assuage the aging process to give you a more youthful and rested appearance.

No two faces are alike, and your anti wrinkle treatment shouldn’t be either. Our cosmetic doctors and nurses work closely with you to create a personalised plan tailored to your needs and goals.
These treatments are quick and require minimal downtime, and you’ll be amazed at how immediate the results are. Within days, years of stress and ageing will seem to evaporate, all with a perfectly natural look.
Anti-wrinkle injections work by blocking the chemical communication between the nerves and the muscle to relax and prevent the muscles from contracting. As a result, it impedes creasing of the skin and smoothen lines/wrinkles on the treatment area.
Yes, a consultation ensures that you are a suitable candidate for this procedure and to see if this would be the best treatment option for you. We will ask you to fill out a form that includes important information relevant to the anti-wrinkle injection procedure, such as any existing medical conditions.
In a private discussion with one of our Doctors and expert cosmetic nurses, we will go through the whole procedure with you step-by-step, including care before and after the anti-wrinkle injections procedure. This also provides you with the opportunity to ask any questions you may have along the way.
For first time patients, a 30 minute session time would be booked in to give enough time to have a consultation and treatment on the same day. There is no obligation to go ahead with the treatment right after the consultation, however we like to provide enough time if you decide to proceed with the treatment. For returning patients, your session would be booked for 15 minutes.
You will start to see improvements in a few days, however generally it takes 7-14 days to get the full results. It is important to note that some people may see results sooner and others slightly later.
Following your anti-wrinkle injection, there are a number of things you can do to ensure you get the best results after the procedure. These include:
Exaggerating facial movements for 1 hour after your treatment to work the injected product into your muscles.
Avoid products containing AHAs, BHAs or Retinoids for 48 hours post-procedure. Use mineral makeup (if using any at all) and apply with a well cleaned sponge or brush.
Avoid facial treatments, peels, or facial massages for 1-2 weeks post-procedure.Stay upright and avoid strenuous exercise for 3-4 hours post-procedure.Avoid non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication eg. Nurofen, aspirin, ibuprofen for 48 hours, as they may induce bruising. In addition to these, it is also very normal to have some redness, swelling and tenderness post-treatment.Some patients may experience small mosquito bite like bumps at the injection site. They generally only last about an hour, but you may ice the area to assist with this swelling. If you are still experiencing some discomfort more than 48 hours later, be sure to contact the clinic as soon as possible. Lastly, it is not uncommon for patients to experience a mild headache post-procedure. If this happens, simply take paracetamol when needed.
