What Are Skin Boosters?
Skin boosters are concentrated, targeted add-ins layered under a moisturiser to intensify results for a specific concern, such as pigmentation, redness, signs of ageing or hydration. This is not to be confused with a skin booster serum, which is a topical skincare product applied to the surface of the skin.
The main difference is that skin boosters are professional injectable treatments that deliver deep hydration into the dermis.
Choosing a Booster for Your Concern
Different concerns will have different solutions. Booster serums are designed to complement your skincare routine, delivering concentrated actives to support specific skin goals while providing a convenient, non-invasive option for everyday care.
For pigmentation, try Dermaceutic Mela Cream and TriVita C. Biretix is great for blemish-prone skin, and Emepelle is our recommended go-to for menopausal skin changes. For dehydrated skin and other hydration-related issues, use the PCA Skin Hyaluronic Acid Boosting Serum.
How to Layer a Booster Into Your Routine
Boosters work as a targeted addition to your existing skincare routine, complementing your core products rather than replacing them.
After cleansing, apply 3–4 drops of your booster to your hands and gently press the formula into slightly damp skin. Follow with your moisturiser to help lock in hydration and support the skin barrier. In the morning, always finish with a broad-spectrum sunscreen.
