Real Talk
CoolPeel is a specific setting on the DEKA Tetra Pro that allows for a more superficial CO₂ laser treatment with minimal thermal damage to surrounding tissue. This results in reduced downtime while still targeting surface-level concerns such as fine lines, rough texture, and dullness.
CoolPeel may be used to assist with:
- Early signs of ageing (fine lines, superficial wrinkles)
- Mild textural concerns
- Enlarged pores
- Uneven tone
- Surface photodamage
Unlike traditional full-field CO₂ resurfacing, CoolPeel delivers shorter pulses at lower energy levels to achieve tissue ablation without excessive heat diffusion. This approach supports a faster recovery, often with only mild redness and dryness post-treatment.
Most clients experience mild redness, similar to a sunburn, for 1–3 days, accompanied by possible dryness or flaking. Compared to deeper resurfacing treatments, CoolPeel has significantly less recovery time.

Cool Peel Treatment Journey
All new clients begin with a consultation. This allows our qualified clinicians to assess your skin & understand your goals.
Once your consultation is completed, your clinician will curate a tailored treatment plan with recommended treatments, pricing, downtime and a clear roadmap to reach your skin goals.
If deciding Cool Peel is the best treatment for you, a qualified clinical will perform your treatment using industry-leading, medical-grade equipment to ensure safe, effective results.
Cool Peel involves moderate to high discomfort, with many clients opting to use a topical anaesthetic. The treatment is often described as a warm tingling sensation.
Immediately after the treatment, the skin will feel warm, like a mild sunburn and will be red. In the following days, the skin will become dry, rough and possibly a little itchy as it begins to heal and regenerate.
At your follow-up appointment, we will assess your skin’s response to treatment and review your progress. If needed, we’ll adjust your treatment plan to ensure you continue achieving the best possible results.
