When we hear of vitamin D, we often envisage soaking up the sun with a cocktail in hand to get a good hit of this essential vitamin, but there’s so much more to vitamin D than meets the eye and it can be a great additive to your skincare routine.
What are the benefits of vitamin D?Vitamin D is supreme for heart health, stabilising our mood and strengthening our bones, but not everybody knows that this powerful antioxidant also has some incredible benefits for our skin too! It’s difficult to balance absorption of vitamin D with these contradictory and often harmful elements, and it can also be very hard to predict how much sun exposure is needed to top up your vitamin D levels naturally.
