Excel V
Excel V is a vascular and pigmentation laser used to target visible blood vessels, redness, and benign pigmented lesions. It uses two wavelengths (532nm and 1064nm) to treat conditions affecting skin tone and colour, with minimal disruption to surrounding tissue.

Real Talk
Excel V is a non-ablative laser system that delivers precise energy to blood vessels and pigment within the skin. The laser causes coagulation of the targeted vessels or breakdown of excess pigment, which the body then gradually reabsorbs or removes. The treatment can be adjusted based on the skin concern and area being treated.
Excel V may be considered for the treatment of:
- Rosacea (non-active)
- Diffuse redness
- Facial and leg veins (telangiectasia)
- Sunspots and age spots
- Post-acne redness
- Mild pigmented lesions
Suitability for Excel V is determined during consultation, as individual factors such as skin type, underlying condition, and medical history must be considered.
The number of sessions will depend on the condition being treated. Some clients may respond after one to two sessions, while others may require a series of treatments. Maintenance treatments may also be recommended, depending on the skin's response.
This varies depending on the condition being treated, skin type, and contributing factors (e.g., sun exposure, hormones, and vascular sensitivity). Long-term management may require a combination of clinical treatment and at-home care.
