Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal uses concentrated light energy to target and damage the hair follicle, reducing hair growth over time. It’s a long-term hair reduction method and works best on hair containing melanin.

This treatment uses selective photothermolysis; laser light is absorbed by pigment in the hair follicle, heating it to damage the cells responsible for growth. Over time, treated hairs grow back finer and more slowly, or stop growing altogether in some areas.
Laser hair removal may be used to treat:
- Face (lip, chin, sideburns)
- Underarms
- Bikini and Brazilian
- Legs, arms and back
- Chest and abdomen
- Ingrown hairs and folliculitis
Hair grows in cycles, so multiple sessions are needed, typically 6–10 treatments spaced 4–12 weeks apart. Maintenance sessions may be required. Results depend on skin tone, hair colour, hormonal influences and other possible factors.
