Laser tattoo removal works by delivering concentrated pulses of light energy into the tattooed area. The ink absorbs the laser energy, which breaks the pigment into smaller particles that are gradually cleared by the lymphatic system.
Our Enlighten III system offers the versatility of dual pulse durations, picosecond pulses for precision and faster clearance, and nanosecond pulses for deeper, more stubborn pigment. In addition it is paired with multiple wavelengths to target even difficult ink colours like red, blue, and green.
Tattoo removal may be used for:
- Professional and amateur tattoos
- Unwanted cosmetic tattooing (assessed individually)
- Black, red, blue, green, and multicolour inks
- Previously treated tattoos with residual pigment
Most tattoos require between 6–12+ sessions, spaced 6–8 weeks apart. The number of treatments depends on factors such as:
- Tattoo size, depth, and colour
- Ink type and age
- Skin type and healing response
- Body location

Tattoo Removal Treatments
This treatment includes a customised laser treatment for tattoos up to a certain size.
Suitable for: Most skin types (assessed during consultation)
Discomfort Level: Moderate to high – topical numbing may be applied
Downtime: Temporary redness, swelling, scabbing or blistering in some cases may occur
Treatment Duration : 15 - 45 minutes depending on size and location
