Cosmetic tattoos, often called permanent or semi-permanent makeup, is a safe and tested way to provide natural-looking beauty treatments through ink treatments. Small quantities of feather-light ink are applied to the eyelashes and eyebrows, to provide results that are natural, subtle, and long-lasting.

Most commonly, Clinica Lase cosmetic tattooing near Bendigo and Ballarat involves fine inkwork to the eyelashes or eyebrows, augmenting your natural look. Small changes are made on the brow or between each lash that aren't individually noticeable, but together create a beautiful new look, as though wearing makeup.
All of our clinicians use the highest quality, specialised cosmetic tattoo machines. Clinica Lase prides itself on attracting Ballarat and Bendigo customers to Melbourne for world-class cosmetic tattooing treatments, that last 4-5 years.

The skin in the area to be tattooed must be free from infection, irritation, eczema, psoriasis and any open wounds or sores. If you have any of these skin conditions please advise your tattooist prior to any treatment.

Upon arriving for your appointment, you will be asked to fill out a consultation form which will include questions about your medical history, previous treatments etc. You will then have a private discussion with our experienced cosmetic tattooist who will assess your individual requirements, suggest a tailored plan and take you through the details of the procedure including pre-care and aftercare. During this consultation, you and the cosmetic tattooist will come to an agreement on the shape and colours to be used on the treated area, ensuring the desired end result is achieved. This will also give you the opportunity to have any questions or queries regarding the procedure answered.
Upon arriving for your treatment, the area to be treated is cleaned and the application of a topical anaesthetic is applied 30-45 minutes prior to your treatment. The procedure may take anywhere from 1-2 hours, depending on which area is being treated.

The semi-permanent nature of cosmetic tattooing can lead to nervousness from potential clients. At Clinica-Lase our resident cosmetic tattooist Stefania Maglietti is well renowned in the industry for her experience, technique and skill which are second to none. She is a fully certified cosmetic tattooist, uses the advanced Digital Amiea Linelle machine and the certified Derma Safe ink which is free from toxic pigments. Stefania takes an enormous amount of pride in her work and is dedicated to achieving perfect looking results for all her clients. At Clinica-Lase you can be sure that your safety and peace of mind is our first priority.

The tattoo area may feel a bit sore and bruised for a few days which can be relieved using an ice pack protected by a clean cloth.
Like normal tattoos, dark scabs will form which will last for about 1 week. These fine scabs will give the impression of a darker than intended outcome but this will fade into the intended shade and colour. During this time the area should be kept moist using a topical ointment such as Bepanthen.
The tattooed area should be kept clean to minimise risk of infection. Care should be taken when washing and showering for 48 hours post treatment in which time vigorous scrubbing and rubbing should be avoided.
No soaps, cleansers, make-up or chemicals may be used on the treated area for 72 hours after treatment. Direct sun exposure, tanning booths, swimming and saunas must also be avoided for 2 weeks.
